MSA’s new Altair 4 QuickCheck Station completes full bump and visual/audible alarm function testing in less than one minute, quickly and efficiently verifying instrument gas response and alarm functionality. Daily required preparation time for large Altair 4 Multigas Detector fleets is significantly trimmed. Keeps costs down with less up-front hardware expense and calibration gas.

This convenient test station checks the instrument’s visual and audible alarms, with test results displayed on the Alarm Test LED. The Altair 4 QuickCheck Station indicates results on the Gas Test LED; Pass/Fail LED denotes overall results. Altair 4 Multigas Detectors record time, date, and test results within built-in event logs up to 500 events.
