Principles of Operation The automatic Dynescape descender is mounted to an overhead anchor point. When personnel need to evacuate from an elevated area, they attach the snaphook to the harness chest D-Ring and descend from the elevated area. Once a user jumps on the automatic descender, his descent will not stop until he has either reached the ground or the next closest level. The rate of descent is fast enough to allow for safe evacuation, but slow enough not to cause any injury when the user lands. Approvals & Standards Meets all applicable sections of OSHA and ANSI.
